Dr. Nesya Rubinstein-Shemer is a senior lecturer at the Department of Middle Eastern Studies at Bar Ilan University, Ramat Gan, Israel. Dr. Shemer’s areas of specialization are as follows: Islamic law, relations between Judaism and Islam, and political Islam. Her book, “Hamas and Ideology: Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi on the Jews, Judaism and Israel” was published by Routledge.
