Dr. Sterling Denmark Jensen is an associate professor of tolerance and co-existence at the Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities in Abu Dhabi and is editorial manager for three Open Access journals with Brill: Applied Linguistics Journal, Islamic Studies Journal and Philosophical Studies Journal. He received his doctorate from King’s College London and has been teaching in the UAE since 2014. Prior to his current position, Dr. Jensen taught at the UAE National Defense College (NDC) as well as the U.S. National Defense University in Washington D.C. and publishes his research within Middle East studies and the political economy of the Gulf.
