Dr. Saed Alrabaee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Security and the Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). He holds a Ph.D. in Information System Engineering from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, where he remains an Adjunct Professor and a Research Scientist at the Security Research Centre. His professional expertise bridges high-level cybersecurity—specifically binary code analysis, malware investigation, and digital forensics—with innovative educational leadership. At CETL, Dr. Alrabaee spearheads the integration of emerging technologies into the curriculum, notably through the launch of the AI Clinic for Teaching and Learning, which provides personalized AI guidance for the university community. Recognized globally for his academic contributions, he has published numerous research papers, served as an editor for prestigious journals like IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing, and co-developed a widely adopted AI Assessment Scale for higher education.
