H.E Haitham Alraeesi is the Chairman of the Safety and Emergency Security Association, the first officially registered public-benefit association in the UAE specialized in emergency management. He brings over 20 years of professional experience in emergency preparedness, safety, and crisis response, during which he has led and contributed to numerous initiatives and training programs aimed at enhancing institutional and community readiness. Throughout his career, he has delivered specialized training programs in crisis and emergency management, and has played a key role in supporting inter-agency coordination efforts at both national and local levels. He is currently a doctoral researcher in Crisis Management, and strongly believes in the value of adopting proactive, forward-looking approaches—grounded in systematic analysis and lessons learned from past experiences—to build more effective and resilient emergency response systems.
