H.E. Major General Dr. Abdul Quddus Al Obaidli is a prominent national leader with an extensive career spanning 47 years in quality and institutional excellence, innovation, strategic leadership, future foresight, and law. He has held senior positions within the Ministry of Interior and Dubai Police, in addition to leadership roles in various international organizations and associations. Through these roles, he has made a significant impact at both national and international levels by developing pioneering initiatives, leading transformative institutional change, and achieving strategic accomplishments that have enhanced the UAE’s regional and global standing. He has led and supervised more than 60 associations, councils, committees, and working groups at local, regional, and international levels. Academically, he has also supervised several master’s and doctoral theses in his areas of expertise, contributing to the development of specialized scientific talent. He has participated as a speaker and expert in prestigious international conferences, sharing his expertise in quality, institutional excellence, innovation, and future foresight on influential global platforms. He led excellence teams in Dubai Police and the Ministry of Interior to achieve exceptional results, including winning 176 awards in the Dubai Government Excellence Program, among them first place for four consecutive cycles, and 72 awards in the Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award, including first place for seven consecutive cycles in the category of “Leading Government Entity.” He also contributed to Dubai Police winning the “Innovation Sponsor Entity” award at the Government of Dubai level and received a total of 110 medals, decorations, and certificates of appreciation from governmental and international bodies, in recognition of his distinguished career and impactful institutional achievements that set high standards in performance and leadership.
