H.E Zaki Nusseibeh is a distinguished Emirati statesman and intellectual who has been a central figure in the UAE’s development since its founding in 1971. After earning his degree from the University of Cambridge, he served for over three decades as the personal advisor and interpreter to the nation’s founder, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, helping to shape the country’s early diplomatic and cultural identity. His career has spanned high-ranking roles, including Minister of State and Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, and he currently serves as the Cultural Advisor to the UAE President and Chancellor of United Arab Emirates University. A passionate advocate for education and the arts, Nusseibeh has been instrumental in establishing world-class institutions like Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi and has received numerous international honors, such as the UAE Order of the Union and the French Legion of Honour, for his lifelong commitment to cultural diplomacy.
