Lenah Hassaballah is a broadcast and digital journalist and presenter. She has been covering regional politics for the past 14 years working with media networks such as Al Jazeera and Al Arabiya TV channels. She studied broadcast and digital journalism at the Newhouse School in Syracuse, New York, which is one of the top-ranked communications and journalism schools in the United States. Soon after graduating, she began her career covering the revolution in Egypt with Al Jazeera in 2011. Since then, she has focused on reporting regional politics with a human-interest perspective. In addition to her journalism career, she is a certified expert media trainer specializing in C-level and executive training. She has had the privilege of training a wide range of executives for prestigious organizations in the UAE, the region, and internationally helping them develop advanced skills in public speaking, communication, storytelling and confidence building. In 2022, she joined CNN Business Arabic as a news editor and presenter in Dubai, leading a team of reporters across the region covering business news. More recently, she covered the G20 in Rio de Janeiro where she met Turkish President Erdogan, and previously, she interviewed Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid in Baghdad. he currently hosts CNN Business Arabic’s flagship program Kalam Business which hosts the faces of the Arab world’s business landscape – from billionaires to CEOs to top businessmen, Kalam Business reveals each guest’s business playbook and has garnered over 90 million views so far in less than a year.
