Luís Rodrigues is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the FinTech and AI sectors. Currently serving as Chief Product Officer and Regional Head of Middle East at Lab49 since June 2024, Luís focuses on delivering production solutions that offer competitive advantages. Simultaneously, Luís fulfills roles as Global AI Delegate to Portugal for the Global Alliance for Artificial Intelligence and as a mentor at Ignyte, contributing FinTech expertise to startups in the GCC. Previously, Luís held the position of Chief Technology & Product Officer at QuickCheck, where significant growth was achieved in user acquisition and employee expansion. With a background in technology leadership roles at Seedstars, SimplePay Nigeria, and technical positions at CERN and the University of Évora, Luís combines strong technical skills with a strategic vision for innovation in technology. Luís holds both a BSc and MSc in Computer Science from the University of Évora.
