Mansoor Alhosani is a dedicated Emirati leader in sustainable agriculture, youth empowerment, and climate action. He serves as a member of the UAE Youth Council for Agriculture, where he actively contributes to national strategies addressing food security, climate change, and sustainable resource management. Mansoor has led and participated in pioneering initiatives that promote innovative agricultural practices, resilience in saline soils, and enhanced crop productivity under climate stress. His research includes advancing carbon sequestration with native plants through arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), improving wheat productivity in saline environments, and enhancing date palm pollination efficiency to support the UAE Food Security Strategy 2051 and Climate Neutrality 2050 goals. He has represented Emirati youth in prestigious forums such as COP28, the Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition, and the FAO’s YALA-FAST leadership program in Morocco. Recognized with the Sheikh Sultan Award for Celebrating the Spirit of Youth (Gold Medal, 2020), Mansoor exemplifies youth-driven innovation in sustainable agriculture and food security.
